Environmental action day 2023

For the fourth time, the environmental action day of the Jebsen & Jessen Hamburg Group took place as part of the international Coastal Cleanup Day.

This year we were once again able to make a modest contribution to environmental protection and cleanliness in Hamburg. Together with 25 committed colleagues, we started from Kennedybrücke on the western bank of the Außenalster. Our aim was to clear the path as well as the adjacent meadows, bushes and trees of rubbish as best we could.

During our action, several small collection groups spontaneously formed, which all met at the AlsterCliff Café after their work was done. There we drew a short summary and enjoyed the start of the well-deserved weekend together.

Our heartfelt thanks go to all our volunteers! Without your active support, the event would not have been so successful.

We are already looking forward to next year and cordially invite all colleagues who were not able to participate this year to join us for the next environmental action day.
