Coastal Cleanup Day 2022

We, the Jebsen & Jessen Hamburg Group, organised an environmental action day. It took place for the third time as part of the international Coastal Cleanup Day.

As in previous years, many employees signed up again to take part in our environmental action day and to clear the Alster from garbage at two different locations. After a short introduction, equipped with gripping tongs, gloves and garbage bags, some of the colleagues collected garbage on the waterfront of the Außenalster. And the other part cleared the Kaiser-Friedrich-Ufer of garbage.

After two hours of intensive work, a considerable amount of collected garbage came together. We collected many crown caps, cigarettes, masks, handkerchiefs, shoes or old bicycle baskets.  As a reward, we ended the successful day together with a view of the Alster with food and drinks.

We have not only done something good for the environment, but also had fun and social interaction with each other!
